Learning how to have more tasteful expectations is the best thing I’ve done for my well-being.

My well-being is conditioned by the expectations I care about. I condition my expectations to condition my well-being. Having smarter expectations is the most direct way of conditioning your well-being. Usually that means less expectations. Having less expectations means you can expect more from the things that matter, where it matters.

Reserve your expectations for what’s worthwhile. Have tasteful expectations.

Setting expectations tactfully is important. It’s something I struggle with; i’m a work in progress. “i’m not saying this to be mean. just want to call it out as it is.”
